This is an incredible old bucket. This looks like a grain / country store measure but may have been a sap bucker. I have had a double sided grain measure before (two sizes in one) and that piece did not have a handle. No handle, but there are two holes on the inside where one might have been attached at some point in time. Very sturdy. Solid wood bottom. Lovely patina. The top ring is slightly loose on one side, but still holding firmly. Slightly tapered. Measures approximately 11" tall, with a base diameter of 10 3/4" and the opening diameter of 12 1/2". The wooden rings extend beyond the bucket measurements. Boards themselves are 3/4" thick. General age wear. In as found condition. See pictures and ask questions.
