Here is a 1950s ALPS Tin BO Clown Playing Violin Fiddler Rocking Battery Op Toy Parts.
Yes, he's missing his violin and bow, and his red nose. I put new batteries in but he's not showing any promise, but then how often do you really play with these, I've had them since the late 70s and they just sat there looking ..... cool! He is fairly clean all over, the battery compartment is clean no rust or corrosion, I bought these back in the day where they would cost $75 for a broken one..... what happened to all the collectors..... Now it's the time for him to sit somewhere else and make someone smile. He is tilted because he rocks back and forth when he plays the violin. The lithograph is really nice on the log he sits on and he probably can be fixed easily by someone that knows more than me or has the time. He is an old Japan toy made by Alps.
