Vtg 1949 Large Chalkware English Setter Hunting Dog Ashtray Orn-a-Craft Product
Here is a Vtg 1949 Large Chalkware English Setter Hunting Dog Ashtray Orn-a-Craft Product. Nice large chalkware Setter or some kind of hunting dog up against a fence ashtray. It's marked 1949 Orn-a-craft Products. It's all chalk, there is a little damage on the dog, the tip of his tail has a 1/2" chip out of it, and there are a few spots here and there that the chalk has chipped a little on the edges. This is an old piece of chalk ware and a beautiful dog figure all in one. I can't find any of Orn-a-craft products showing this ashtray, but when you look at this piece it just brings visions of craftwork from the past. It's a heavy sturdy piece and well detailed. It's about 6" deep, 6 1/2" wide x 5 3/4" tall.
